Introduction

What is this Blog?

This blog is a simple hobby blog for me.I don't plan on posting regularly but occasionally for fun.I made this blog as a way to practice my writing and narration.

I found a website that has 2-chan urban legends that they have run through a simple google translate.The stories themselves were very unique and interesting but due to the honestly very crappy translation fall apart rather quickly.So having seen that I decided why not rewrite them with proper English grammar as a way to both practice my writing and bring these honestly unique and interesting stories to a wider audience.

I am still not very well learned and neither do I have any writing experience but I am confident in my English so I hope that my rewrites get the point across and are enjoyable.

For the posts;after the rewrites I will also link to the original story and the post/thread if I can find it so please do go check those out as well.

Funnily this all started from a blank cult video.If you don't know what that is its basically a Youtube channel that has neither a name nor any video titles but posts EDM and J-Pop music.Around a few weeks ago the channel released a new song based off of the "Saruyume" urban legend from a 2-chan thread.Thinking that the concept behind the song was unique I sought out the story and found the website I was talking about earlier leading to this here blog.

Anyways that's all for the first post I hope you can read and enjoy the rewrites and I also welcome constructive criticism because again this blog is made for my own improvement so please don't hesitate to provide feedback.Also please do share the blog so these unique stories can reach a larger audience.

Saru Yume(The Monkey Dream)

Saru Yume It isn't uncommon for me to have lucid dreams.I often realize I am, dreaming and can alter them according to my wish.Often I can also wake up on command so I never really have had issues with nightmares that is until I saw the one I shall speak of in detail. The First Dream I had gone to sleep as usual with nothing of note having happened.This time like many others I realized I was dreaming as soon as it began. Standing alone in an abandoned station in the middle of nowhere I thought to myself what a shitty dream.The unmanned station I stood in was dingy and small with maybe a 12 meter long platform and a single bench to sit on.An orange light bulb above my head was the only source of light. Beside realizing when I'm dreaming I  can also affect my dreams but this time I chose not to,only to realize what a mistake that would be later on.
